The core consists of the muscles of the lumbo-pelvic region, hips, abdomen, and lower back. These muscles play an important role in every movement we make and offer vital support to our hips, knees, feet. Don't underestimate the importance of a strong core. Developing a strong core decreases lower back pain, reduces stress on the knees, improves posture and balance, and increases all-over body strength and mobility.

Core strengthening exercises are varied and can be performed lying down, seated, or standing. Individuals with back and knee pain can often find relief by developing core strength.
